There comes a point, on any trip of more than a couple days, when you just don’t want to do it. You don’t want to take the tour, ride the bus up the mountain, leave the hotel/hostel/campsite, etc.

So don’t. We are all mildly brainwashed into thinking something has to be done at every minute of every day of a journey. But that’s just not true. If you are feeling drained and need to recharge your batteries, take a day and recharge them.

Whatever you wanted to do will likely be there tomorrow.
